Genitals and 3 year old Curiosity

If the words vagina and penis make you uncomfortable, I’d recommend moving on.

My three year old has been expanding her body part vocabulary. She’s known the proper terms for her genitals for a while, but she has recently shown new interest in her brother’s differing parts which has reinvigorated her interest in genitals in general. She often tells me that me and her have “baginas” and her brother and dad have “penits.” Couldn’t be more accurate. It gets better. She noticed recently that I have a hairy vagina. Now all new 3 year old discoveries often make their way into everyday conversations. This particular discovery was recently shared at daycare, and now all of her daycare friends know that I have a hairy vagina. I couldn’t be more proud at my little observer and look forward to daycare pick-up/drop-offs where I know some parents have recently been enlightened to my nether region grooming habits.
