Who we are

I’m a mom; I have 2 little kids under the age of 4. Becoming a mom changed everything. Not in a bad way, but if you know you know. Before kids I did things well. I was an A+ student. I competed in sports internationally. I read books. I hung out with friends. I answered texts in a timely manner. I exercised multiple times a week. I ate 3 meals a day. Having kids has adjusted that balance. This blog serves as an honest reflection of motherhood and what I count as the small wins because focusing on those, I’ve found, is the way to frame my perspective on life. I aim to provide quick snippets (think what you could read on your phone before you 2 year old joins you in the bathroom) with my reflections, recommendations, and small wins. Here’s to “it takes a village!”

By The Way -> This is not me nor my child. This is a stock photo. But we live in a place that kind of looks like this so I thought it was appropriate. But, I sure hope the real woman in this picture did not carry that child for more than a 1/4 mile hike. My arms and back ache for her.
